My 3 Best Sound Healing events  in Canggu, Bali

Listen, I’m going to be completely honest with you—when I first heard about sound healing in Bali, I thought someone was trying to sell me snake oil. Then I actually experienced it, and let me tell you, it was one of those “why didn’t anyone tell me about this sooner?” moments. If you’re looking for the best sound healing in Canggu, Bali or anywhere on the island, you need to check out these three incredible experiences that completely transformed my wellness journey.

My favourite is Udara in Seseh ( North Canggu ). They have an amazing Gong collection . But it is pricey . ADDA Yoga is cheaper and great service

I’m talking about sound bath therapychakra balancing with sound, and genuine energy healing sound baths that left me feeling like I’d been hit by a healing frequencies comet in the best way possible.

Let me share the three places that absolutely blew my mind and became my regular haunts during my time living here.

Udara Sound Healing Sound Healing Center Udara Sound Healing Center 1 1024x669 1

Okay, so imagine walking into a sacred space that looks like something straight out of a sci-fi healing movie. Welcome to Udara’s brand-new Quantum Sound Dome—and trust me, this isn’t your average sound meditation Canggu experience.

Located at Jl. Pura Kramat, Cemagi, Seseh, Bali (about 20 minutes from Canggu towards Ubud), Udara opened its doors in 2017 as a holistic healing resort. But it wasn’t until November 2024 that they unveiled these absolutely wild Quantum Sound Domes, and honestly, it’s a game-changer for anyone serious about deep meditation experiences and chakra healing

Here’s what blew me away: the dome’s sacred geometry and exceptional acoustics make it feel like the vibrations are literally curating your consciousness. You start with a ceremonial cacao ritual to shift from your head to your heart, then settle in while talented Indonesian musicians perform with handpan, violin, gongs, and flute. The healing vibrationswash over you naturally before you lie down for the actual sound healing session with singing bowls, gongs, and chimes.

The healing frequencies created by these instruments are absolutely next level. I’ve experienced regular sound baths before, but this is different. The dome itself seems to amplify the healing power. They offer group sound healing sessions Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with Sunday sessions from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It’s genuinely one of the best sound healing workshops experiences you can have.

Located at Jl. Kayu Manis, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara (literally on top of AWAN connection workspace—yes, on the rooftop!), ADDA YOGA has been a trusted name for holistic wellness and private sound healing sessions. The studio is intimate, peaceful, and honestly, the views alone are worth showing up.

Their most popular offering? “The Crystal Journey” sound bath sessions every Wednesday at 7:30 PM. I’ve done this one probably fifteen times now, and it never gets old. They use crystal singing bowlsTibetan singing bowlsshamanic drums, and other instruments to create profound healing experiences that genuinely address your energy centers.

What I loved most is their commitment to combining ancient wisdom with modern techniques. Their practitioners have trained with respected yoga gurus and have expertise in sound vibration therapy and energy healing sound baths. The chakra balancing work is particularly strong here.

They also offer private sound healing sessions at your villa if you’re looking for something more intimate, and their regular weekly sound healing events create a beautiful community vibe. For anyone interested in best wellness Canggu Bali, this is solid gold.

Now here’s where things get really interesting. If you want to combine your sound healing with a full wellness experience, The Path Yoga Center in Pererenan, Canggu is absolutely next level. I’ve been going here regularly, and the energy is genuinely different—this place has a massive heart.

Located at Jl. Munduk Tengah No4, Pererenan, Canggu, 80351, The Path features the incredibly talented Komal Kaur, a biotechnologist turned sound healer who’s been serving the healing community since 2016. This woman is the real deal—she’s got her BSc in Biotechnology plus certifications in Advanced Sound Healing, Himalayan Singing Bowl Therapy, and Gong Therapy. She literally merges science with spirituality, which is exactly what I needed to hear as a skeptic.

Komal’s sound healing sessions use Crystal Alchemy singing bowls tuned to the healing 432Hz musical scale, along with various other healing instruments and sounds to create spaces for deep rest, healing, and transformation. What blew my mind? Her sessions include channeled vocal transmissions that guide you into deep meditation and altered states of consciousness. It’s not just passive—it’s participatory.

The beauty of The Path is that they’ve created this incredible space where sound meditation combines with their newly added Recovery Space featuring hot and cold plunge therapy and a traditional sauna. I’m talking about a complete holistic wellness experience. You could literally do sound healing in the morning, then hit the hot plunge afterward for full-body recovery.

They offer:

  • Regular sound healing sessions (check their schedule on the website for current times)
  • Group sound baths with collective energy
  • Private sound healing sessions available
  • Sound meditation experiences for serious practitioners
  • Integration with yoga and breathwork classes

Look, I get it. Before I experienced this myself, I was skeptical too. But here’s what drew me in: the science is real. Sound therapy works through specific healing frequencies that literally slow down your brain waves and promote deep relaxation. The vibrational therapy addresses everything from physical tension to emotional blockages.

When you’re lying in a sound bath receiving frequencies from instruments like Tibetan singing bowlscrystal singing bowls, and gongs, your nervous system genuinely shifts into a parasympathetic state. Your chakras align, your energy centers balance, and you emerge feeling like someone just hit a reset button on your entire system.

The benefits include:

  • Stress relief and anxiety release
  • Sound healing for pain relief in muscles and joints
  • Inner peace and spiritual awakening
  • Chakra alignment and energy balance
  • Deep relaxation sound bath experiences leading to better sleep
  • Emotional healing through vibrational release

If you’re visiting Bali and serious about your wellness journey, don’t skip sound healing. Here’s my take: if you’re just curious and want to try it, hit up ADDA YOGA for their Wednesday session or Udara for a quick sound meditation. If you want to go deep and potentially life-changing, book a private session with Shervin. If you want the full ceremonial experience with the most impressive setup, the Quantum Sound Dome at Udara is absolutely worth the trip outside Canggu.

I came to Bali for the beaches and the vibes. I stayed for the healing. The sound healing community here is genuinely world-class, and these three options represent the absolute best of what’s available.

Q: What exactly is sound healing, and how does it work? A: Sound healing uses specific instruments and frequencies to promote healing and balance in your body, mind, and spirit. The vibrations from instruments like singing bowls and gongs literally affect your brain waves, slowing them down to a meditative state and facilitating deep relaxation. Everything is vibration—the instruments create frequencies that realign your body’s natural harmonic state and help release blockages on physical, emotional, and energetic levels.

Q: Is sound healing scientifically proven? A: Yes! Research shows that sound therapy can lower blood pressure, improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety, and enhance emotional well-being. The frequencies from sound instruments can directly affect your nervous system, brain waves, and even cellular function. Many hospitals and wellness centers now use sound therapy as a complementary treatment.

Q: What should I expect during a sound bath session? A: You’ll typically lie down in a comfortable position while a practitioner plays various instruments around you. The sounds and vibrations wash over your body, and you’ll likely slip into a deep meditative state (often entering theta brainwaves). Most sessions last 60-90 minutes. You’ll feel deeply relaxed, and many people fall asleep during the session—which is totally normal and part of the healing process.

Q: What’s the difference between sound bath and sound healing? A: Sound bath refers to the experience of immersing yourself in healing sounds and vibrations, usually in a group setting. Sound healing is the broader practice of using sound frequencies for therapeutic purposes, which can include one-on-one sessions, chakra balancing, energy work, or targeted treatment for specific conditions.

Q: Do I need to be spiritual or into yoga to benefit from sound healing? A: Absolutely not! You don’t need any experience or belief system. Sound healing works on a physiological level—your body responds to the frequencies regardless of your spiritual background. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete skeptic, you’ll benefit from the relaxation and stress relief.

Q: How often should I do sound healing sessions? A: This is totally personal. Some people do weekly sessions for ongoing wellness, while others do monthly or as-needed. For beginners, I’d recommend trying at least one session to see how you respond. Many people find that regular sessions amplify the benefits over time.

Q: Is sound healing safe for everyone? A: Sound healing is generally very safe, but pregnant women and people with certain heart conditions should consult their doctor first. If you have hearing sensitivity issues, let your practitioner know, and they can adjust the experience accordingly.

Q: What’s the best time to visit Bali for sound healing experiences? A: Any time is good! However, Bali’s dry season (April-October) has the most consistent weather. Full moon sound healing sessions are particularly popular and often fully booked, so plan ahead if that interests you.

Q: How much does sound healing cost in Bali? A: Group sessions range from 200K-400K IDR (roughly $12-25 USD). Private sessions start around 500K IDR and can go higher depending on the practitioner. Multi-session packages and retreats offer better value if you’re planning extended healing work.
