Best places to party in Uluwatu

What about catching the best waves during the day and enjoying night clubs and cocktail bar at night ?

Uluwatu Nightlife

I love Uluwatu !

Those majestic cliffs, the surfer vibe, nice beaches and amazing atmosphere . What I really love is that there is more space than in Canggu, Seminyak or Ubud . Building, hotels, resorts and touristic places are more spread out , and some of them have an amazing view on the cliff, or a located right into the jungle ! So that’s amazing . The vegetation is different than in the centre of the Island and the beaches are way better than Canggu or Seminyak . Even if you are not into surfing, spending a few days, either in court;les or with friends , is a great option for fun .

I strongly recommend to rent a scooter in order to navigate easily in the area, that is pretty wide . If you drink, of course don’t take your scooter and use Gojek .

The first time I went to Uluwatu, I ended up at single fin the first night . And what an experience . Really packed night club with excellent music, large dance floor and crazy vibe .

Yes, the party scene is less intense than in other part of Bali, but the quality is definitively there and there is a vibrant nightlife , believe me .

My 7 Best places to party in Uluwatu

Bali, the gods’ island, is typically associated with images of beautiful beaches, lush rice terraces, and vibrant civilizations. Uluwatu, on the other hand, is the place to go if you want a different kind of Bali experience—one with pulsating beats, waving palm palms, and moonlit beach parties. Join me as we explore the best places to party in Uluwatu as we go through this enchanting region of Bali.

1-) A Single Fin Prelude to the Sunset in Bali

Picture20 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

My excursion to Uluwatu begins at sundown with a ceremony that sets the tone for the rest of the evening. Only one in Bali is set on a cliff with a view of the well-known surf break at Suluban Beach. It is more than simply a bar; it is a temple of sunset worship and the ideal venue to start a night of partying.

I arrive in the late afternoon and pick a beautiful spot on the large wooden deck from which I can see the entire Indian Ocean. Surfers ride the surging waves below as the sun sets, creating an incredible spectacle. A DJ spins a lovely mix of sounds live, which builds up as the sun sets. You will have some crazy nights over there . Never disappointed with single fin Bali .

2-) Sunday Sessions: Ulu Cliff House

Picture21 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

Popular spot especially to start your evening . The only venue that can do so is Ulu Cliff House, which epitomizes the holiness of the Uluwatu weekend. As it stands on the side of a tall cliff, this stylish beach club offers unobstructed views of the ocean and the promise of great Sunday sessions.

As the weekend sun sets, Ulu Cliff House transforms into a raucous beachfront party. A resident DJ blends deep house, funk, and disco tunes to create the vibe. People gather around the pool to soak up the rays, sip homemade cocktails, and cool off in the water. The eclectic population, which comprises stylish jet-setters and tanned surfers, produces a distinct and interesting environment. They have live music with local bands and special events ( check it out ) . Best option for fun. The best time is for sunset of course !

3-) Omnia Bali, Bali’s Bohemian Oasis

Picture22 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

If Uluwatu is Bali’s party capital, Omnia Bali is the crown jewel. One of my favorite things to do in Uluwatu is to dance at OMNIA . While located high on the cliffs of Uluwatu, this famed day club and nightclub complex offers a one-of-a-kind blend of elegance and natural beauty. The venue is known for its opulent parties, top-tier DJs, and unrivaled aura of grandeur.

As the sun begins to drop, I enter Omnia’s outdoor day club, which features an infinity pool with panoramic views of the ocean. As the tropical beats set the tone, the dance floor comes alive with energy. The jagged cliffs and azure waters below contrast sharply with the lavish chandeliers and futuristic buildings above. It is an area with high.

Later in the evening, Omnia transforms into a full-fledged nightclub with performances by well-known DJs. As the night progresses, the party moves from the dance floor to the VIP sky bar, which provides an unparalleled view of the action below. The crowd moves in time with the music. Good reason to dance all night .|

4-) Seaside Joy: Sundays Beach Club

Picture23 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

Sundays Beach Club is great for those looking for a more laid-back seaside party environment. This beach club provides a calm respite from the busy Uluwatu scene while still retaining a lively party atmosphere. It’s tucked away in a quiet cove.

Sundays Beach Club is reached through a funicular railway that drops through lush green cliffs to the beautiful white sands below, making the journey there an adventure in and of itself. The club provides a variety of water sports activities, such as kayaking and paddleboarding, to keep you entertained during the day. However, as dusk hits, the beach becomes a haven for music aficionados.

A resident DJ’s carefully crafted mix, which fluidly transitions between exciting tunes and mellow melodies, creates an ambience suited for dancing on the sand or lounging in a beach cabana. The romantic ambience is enhanced by the campfire that is lit when night falls, making it the ideal spot for a beach party beneath the stars. Great spot to feel the Uluwatu vibe ! Excellent choice of signature cocktails

5-) Bali’s Rock Bar: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Reverie

Picture24 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

Uluwatu’s party scene combines rock ‘n’ roll with techno beats and tropical vibes. Rock Bar Bali, which is part of the Ayana Resort and Spa, allows you to channel your inner rockstar.

Rock Bar Bali is a one-of-a-kind bar perched on natural rocks above Jimbaran Bay’s raging waves. The bar has a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Indian Ocean. It is reached through a spectacular inclinator ride down the cliffside. The setting sun illuminates the bar’s iconic circular DJ booth and gourmet beverages.

Live bands and DJs at Rock Bar Bali usually perform a mix of new hits and old rock songs to keep the party going. The excitement is high here, making it ideal for toasting the night and dancing beneath the stars. One of the best bars of Uluwatu . Prices are high , expensive .

6-) “The Cave Rave” by The Cashew Tree Collective.

Picture25 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

If you want a unique and off-the-beaten-path party experience, go to The Cashew Tree Collective. This bohemian hideaway in Bingin Beach is tucked away in a lush tropical garden and offers a special underground party atmosphere. Beware as this is not every day , but they have live music quite often .

The Cashew Tree Collective’s Parties, where you can party and dance , are well-known. Lights illuminate the underground dance floor, creating an otherworldly atmosphere that appears to exist only in a dream.

As I entered , I was met by a diverse audience and the pulsing sounds of music. The mood was exciting, and the close-knit environment made it easy to strike up conversations and make new friends. Let loose and party and blow off some steam there there. Great place for a good time . Reasonable price for drinks .

7-) Savaya Bali : the most stunning view

Picture26 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

Insane night club, with terrace on top of the cliff. IUteis a little bit further away so you will have to drive 20-30 min from Uluwatu, but the experience is UNIQUE .

Incredible vibe, nice beats and mesmerising view

One of my best clubbing experience . One of the best things to do in that specific area

How to Navigate the Uluwatu Party Scene

Picture27 3 Uluwatu Nightlife

While the Uluwatu party scene is undeniably lively, you should act with care. The following suggestions can help you have a memorable and safe experience:

Make arrangements for a designated driver or use ride-sharing services to safely return to your lodging after indulging in alcoholic beverages such as beer or cocktails.

Keep Hydrated: The tropical environment of Bali can dehydrate you, especially if you’re out dancing all night. To stay energized, keep yourself hydrated.

Uluwatu’s natural beauty is its most valuable asset; therefore, please respect it. Remember to properly dispose of your waste and keep away from the cliffs and beaches.

Respect the Locals: Balinese culture values tradition and respect. Remember that while Uluwatu is a renowned party destination, it also has residents and businesses.

Understand Your Limits: The nightlife in Uluwatu may be intense. Be aware of your alcohol tolerance and party responsibly to have a memorable day.

Final Thoughts

Picture28 4 Uluwatu Nightlife

As I dance under the Balinese stars with partygoers from all over the world, I’m reminded of the unifying power of music and joy. Uluwatu has a way of bringing people together and building genuine, joyous connections. It’s a place to let go, dance carelessly, and celebrate life while gazing out over the vast Indian Ocean.

If you want to have a great party experience in Bali, Uluwatu is the place to be. Allow yourself to be swept away into a world of revelry where every night is a celebration of life and freedom, and the beat of the music and the beauty of the surroundings never truly stop the party.

WHO AM I ?

Hello !

I am Eric, a French Australian citizen based between Australia, Asia and Bali an I love to travel and experience the world. I generally like outdoor activities, wellness, great food and venues , party and real local adventures ! I am a Yoga practitioner and fitness lover

I created this  blog because I love to travel and I want to share my experiences with others. I’ve been traveling since I was a child, and I’ve been to over 50 countries. I’ve seen some amazing things and met some amazing people, and I want to help others experience the same things.

I believe that travel is one of the best ways to learn about the world and about yourself. When you travel, you’re forced to step outside of your comfort zone and experience new things. You learn about different cultures, different religions, and different ways of life. You also learn about yourself, your strengths, and your weaknesses.

Travel can also be a great way to make new friends. When you’re traveling, you’re surrounded by people from all over the world, and you’re all in the same boat. You’re all there to explore and experience new things, and that can create a bond between people.

I hope that my travel blog will inspire others to travel and to see the world. I also hope that it will help people to learn about different cultures and to become more open-minded.
