Best Yoga Amed, Bali | Best place to do yoga in Amed 2026

If you are looking for the best yoga in Amed Bali, let me tell you right now: the answer is a mix of high-vibe shalas, incredible mountain views, and a community that feels like a warm hug. Whether you’re here for a deep meditation practice, a Bali yoga retreat 2026, or just a gentle flow after a sunrise trek, Amed is the perfect place to unroll your yoga mat. In this guide, I’m breaking down the absolute best places for yoga Amed Bali has to offer, including yoga classes Amed locals love and the top-tier yoga studios Amed Bali visitors rave about, so you can stop searching and start breathing.

Hey guys, it’s Eric! If you’ve been following Funky Fresh Travels, you know I’m currently living the dream in Bali. While most people flock to the rice fields of Ubud , I’ve been spending a ton of time on the east coast lately. Honestly, Amed is a better place for those who want to escape the traffic and actually hear the ocean while they Savasana. There is just no better way to wake up than seeing the sun hit the peak of Mount Agung while you’re mid-vinyasa. It’s authentic, it’s a bit salty, and it’s pure magic.

My favourite of all is blue earth village as the view is INCREDIBLE ! I love to take my morning class over there and just relax with this incredible view .

Of course , Amed is not Ubud . You will only find 2-3 Yoga studios there and actually there are not Yoga studios, but hotel or diving  centres doing Yoga . I was surprise to see that the classes were pretty crowded in Blue earth village ( 20 pax ) which is great to socialise

If you haven’t been to Blue Earth Village, have you even been to Amed? This place is a legendary amed bali community hub. The ocean view yoga shala Amed at Blue Earth is perched high on a hill, giving you a front-row seat to Jemeluk Bay and Mount Agung.

  • The Vibe: High-energy, eco-conscious, and architecturally stunning. The seating area in the restaurant downstairs is also the best way to make new friends over a smoothie bowl.
  • Classes: They offer daily yoga schedule Amed Bali vibes featuring Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga, and some seriously deep Yin yoga.
  • Specialty: This is the ideal place for yoga and freediving Amed enthusiasts. They even host a 7-day Yin Yoga Teacher Training in April 2026 for those looking to level up.

If you want a wellness retreat feel with a private pool nearby, Kelapa Cottage is your spot. Located near Lipah Beach, this boutique stay has a gorgeous yoga studio that is open to outside guests.

  • The Vibe: Peaceful and polished. It’s a perfect place for an experienced yoga practitioner who wants a bit of luxury.
  • Classes: They host gentle flow and meditation practice sessions. It’s also a frequent host for a bali yoga retreat 2026.
  • Bonus: After class, grab a healthy lunch at their restaurant—it’s one of the best places in the area to refuel.

Amed isn’t just for casual drop-ins. If you are looking for a yoga school to start your career, you are in luck. Trimurti Yoga Bali and other international schools often host teacher training courses right here on the coast. These yoga teacher training programs usually include airport transfers from Ngurah Rai International Airport, making the 3-hour drive totally stress-free.

Whether you are into Acro Yoga or a silent meditation practice, the various wellness industries in Amed have grown massively. You can find everything from a 200-hour Hatha training to specialized Yin yoga immersions.

Blue heart village : the incredible view :

Let’s be real: the mountain views are the main event here. Practicing Yoga with Mount Agung View isn’t just a gimmick; there is an intense energy to that volcano. For the ultimate experience, try a Sunset Yoga Amed Bali session. The sky turns shades of purple and orange over the coral reefs, and you’ll realize why so many yoga enthusiasts never want to leave.

Staying at Dharma Yoga Homestay dan Hostel is a great move if you’re on a budget. It’s super close to Amed Beachand offers a simple, clean seating area to relax. Plus, they can help arrange private yoga sessions Amed style if you want one-on-one attention.

When the hunger hits, head to Warung Enak. Don’t let the “Warung” name fool you; they serve some of the best food in town. It’s located near Jemeluk Beach and is a favorite among the amed bali community. Their fish in garlic butter is life-changing, and the atmosphere is so cozy you’ll feel like you’re at a friend’s house.

  • Getting There: It’s about 2.5 to 3 hours from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Most yoga retreat packages include airport transfers, but you can easily hire a private driver.
  • The Gear: Most studios provide a yoga mat, but if you’re doing a long yoga teacher training, bringing your own is always a vibe.
  • The Beach: Between classes, go snorkeling at Jemeluk Bay or Lipah Beach. The coral reefs are right off the shore.
  • Booking: For the most up-to-date info, check the Facebook page of the studios, as schedules in Bali can sometimes be “island time” flexible.

Amed is truly the ideal place for anyone looking for a bali yoga retreat that feels more like a local experience and less like a tourist trap. The combination of ocean views, the towering volcano, and the quiet pace of life makes it a better place for spiritual growth than almost anywhere else on the island.

Beyond the yoga mat, Amed is a coastal playground that stretches along the eastern tip of Bali, offering a pace of life that’s refreshingly slow. If you’re wondering what to do between your yoga classes Amed sessions, the answer usually lies underwater.

World-Class Snorkeling and Diving The best part of Amed is the accessibility of its vibrant marine life. You don’t even need a boat; just walk off Jemeluk Beach to explore thriving coral reefs and schools of tropical fish. For something truly unique, head to nearby Tulamben to see the USAT Liberty Shipwreck, or stay in Amed to find the Japanese Shipwreck sitting just meters below the surface in a quiet bay.

Sunsets and Volcano Views For the best way to end your day, grab a spot at a lookout point overlooking Jemeluk Bay. Watching the sun dip behind the silhouette of Mount Agung is a spiritual experience in itself. Many yoga enthusiastshead to Blue Earth Village for a post-practice coconut to catch this view, as it’s arguably the perfect place for sunset photography.

Coastal Exploration Rent a scooter and cruise the winding coastal road toward Lipah Beach. You’ll pass local salt farmers—Amed is famous for its traditional sea salt—and endless stretches of black volcanic sand. If you’re feeling active, a sunrise trek in the surrounding hills offers amazing views of the coastline and the rice fields tucked away in the valleys.

Authentic Dining Amed is a foodie’s dream for fresh seafood. Check out Warung Enak for incredible local flavors or enjoy the chilled-out seating area at one of the many cafes along Amed Beach. Whether you’re here for a wellness retreat or a solo adventure, the amed bali community is incredibly welcoming, making it a better place to soak up the real Bali.
