I spent one week in Sichuan and got was amazing! Food is really great, the 1200-year-old grand Buddha is really impressive and there is nice trekking to do with breathtaking scenery. Among all the best places in China , it is surely on top of the list and definitively the best in southwest china. There is still a cultural shock in the countryside, and Chinese people can be funny sometimes with their local culture, It is the perfect place for more nature and relax.

You can go to the city of Chengdu too. We spent two days over there. The capital of Sichuan province is HUGE ( more than 25 millions peoples and the surroundings has 80 millions peoples ).
Chengdu is the hometown of giant pandas, one endangered species. If you want to see lovely pandas, go for it !

It took us three hours to reach the city centre … In my opinion the city is too big, and not much to do except the pandas ( check my description below )
