Activities to do Miraflores Peru Things to Do in Miraflores Peru
Picture1 7 Things to Do in Miraflores Peru

I have been twice to Peru and I really did enjoy . One of my favourite country in south America. I felt like countries like Argentina, Colombia, or Chile has less roots im their original traditional culture and more westernised ( or less and less due to modernity ) . But countries like Bolivia, Brazil ( in some parts ) and Peru are still more authentic , with the original tribes and the old native culture . There is still a cultural significance in Peru .

The city of lima was amazing too . A kind of dark atmosphere, not much sun and a great city to spend a few days .

Miraflores is a perfect place for a day trip : historical sites, nice local market in the center , food vendors and beautiful views. You can hire a tour guide to visit the most popular places.

What I love the most : the markets definitively . Many food markets and handicrafts . But not only . The monuments were incredible, especially the churches . I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in the near future to keep on exploring .

The best way to get to Miraflores like a “local” is to use “colectivos”buses ( Those buses with a guy screaming to get customers ) . This is an experience definitively , and the price is very cheap . Otherwise you can take the clasic taxi, they are very easy to get and still affordable . Try to avoid to stay late at night in dodgy suburbs or walk around alone too much in remote areas .

All up, I would recommend 3-4 days in Lima with one full day in Miraflores

WHO AM I ?

Hello !

I am Eric, a French Australian citizen based between Australia, Asia and Bali an I love to travel and experience the world. I generally like outdoor activities, wellness, great food and venues , party and real local adventures ! I am a Yoga practitioner and fitness lover

I created this  blog because I love to travel and I want to share my experiences with others. I’ve been traveling since I was a child, and I’ve been to over 50 countries. I’ve seen some amazing things and met some amazing people, and I want to help others experience the same things.

I believe that travel is one of the best ways to learn about the world and about yourself. When you travel, you’re forced to step outside of your comfort zone and experience new things. You learn about different cultures, different religions, and different ways of life. You also learn about yourself, your strengths, and your weaknesses.

Travel can also be a great way to make new friends. When you’re traveling, you’re surrounded by people from all over the world, and you’re all in the same boat. You’re all there to explore and experience new things, and that can create a bond between people.
