As I practiced Yoga on a regular basis and I am a teacher , I know most of the studios ( actually all of them ) especially in Canggu. So I like to explore new territories, especially Seminyak. I sometimes just go for half a day, take a Yoga class and then enjoy a yummy breakfast ! I like to just stroll around in the streets of Seminyak . Plenty of things to do ! The town is chilled and busy at the same time. There is something unique, and the beach is gorgeous .

Why Bali is ( one ) of the best place in the world for Yoga ?

Bali is called, “The Island of the Gods” because it is an island where magic seems genuine and where practising yoga puts you in a mental condition where you can interact directly with the gods.

That, or perhaps the fact that its stunning topography, with its towering mountains, fine-grained beaches, and lush vegetation, could only have been shaped by supernatural intervention. The god themselves built this paradise for us mere mortals, and we’ve made it even better by making it the best yoga destination in the world.

Okay, Rishikesh may have a point, but with over 600 Bali yoga studios, school and retreats, both cities may compete for the title of the most well-liked yoga destination in the world.

What is so unique about a yoga retreat in Bali?

Yoga enthusiasts and non-yogis go to Bali because it is a hotspot for health and wellness. But, for yogis, it is, nonetheless, extra-special.

Want to take a yoga class from a well-known guru? Here, you can take classes or attend retreats led by some of the best professors. Want a full-body massage? There are many holistic experience available to you. Finally, are you looking for a tasty and nutritious meal? Happy news is that nearly every area on the island has a vegan or non vegan dining establishment.

The island has a solid spiritual culture. While the rest of the country is Muslim, Bali is predominately Hindu. It gives off a distinctive vibe different from the rest of Indonesia. Yoga has some connections to Hinduism, which helped to shape Bali’s distinctive yoga culture and allowed for the growth of yoga retreats and teacher training programmes in this region. It is not to say that one religion is superior to another.

With its distinctive gods, Balinese Hinduism is also a distinctive fusion of Shivaism and Buddhism.

Moreover, since many of them are connected to the island’s mountains and lakes, its religious celebrations are unique, and its temples are magnificent.

According to legend, the island is home to approximately 10,000 temples, shrines, and pilgrimage sites. They are serene and still on the inside, in addition to being beautiful on the outside. Unless there is a festival, it becomes a venue for celebrations such as traditional dance performances.

Which parts of Bali are the greatest for yoga ?

Bali is one of Indonesia’s 34 provinces, and Bali itself is divided into several regions. Southern Bali, where Kuta, Seminyak, Jimbaran, and other areas welcome thousands of tourists daily, is the most well-liked traveller destination. There are many beach resorts and opportunities to enjoy Balinese nightlife or go shopping.

However, Bali’s allure doesn’t end there. West Bali National Park has more than 190,000 acres of jungle; North Bali is an excellent alternative for those who want to escape the crowded southern beaches (especially for surfers); and Ubud, in Central Bali, is the cultural centre of the island and, in our opinion, the ideal location for yoga retreats. Gunung Agung, Indonesia’s holiest mountain, rises in the heart of East Bali.

There is Yoga studios everywhere but peoples general tend to go to Ubud, Canggu or Seminyak.

Why is Seminyak one of the best places in Bali to practice yoga?

In Bali’s elegant and upscale district, Seminyak is comparable to a more affluent Canggu. This premium resort community in Southern Bali is ideal for a amazing yoga vacation on the beach because it has plenty of posh restaurants, stylish bars, spas where you can have a traditional Balinese massage, and abundant shopping. You only need to worry about sleeping, eating, and practising yoga !

Also the surfing conditions are excellent here. Therefore, grab a board and catch a couple of waves at sunset if you want to liven up your trip. If you’ve never surfed before, there are retreats where you can learn the fundamentals and add this thrilling sport to your yoga practice.

WHO AM I ?

Hello !

I am Eric, a French Australian citizen based between Australia, Asia and Bali an I love to travel and experience the world. I generally like outdoor activities, wellness, great food and venues , party and real local adventures ! I am a Yoga practitioner and fitness lover

I created this blog because I love to travel and I want to share my experiences with others. I’ve been traveling since I was a child, and I’ve been to over 50 countries. I’ve seen some amazing things and met some amazing people, and I want to help others experience the same things.

I believe that travel is one of the best ways to learn about the world and about yourself. When you travel, you’re forced to step outside of your comfort zone and experience new things. You learn about different cultures, different religions, and different ways of life. You also learn about yourself, your strengths, and your weaknesses.

Travel can also be a great way to make new friends. When you’re traveling, you’re surrounded by people from all over the world, and you’re all in the same boat. You’re all there to explore and experience new things, and that can create a bond between people.
