What to do in Canggu?
I currently live in Canggu and I love it !
As you have surely noticed in my other blogs post, I always chase the best places in the world !
In my Bali travel blog , you will find some tips about Indonesia, southeast Asia, Bali and other good place in the world .
I live in Canggu and I have to say that the place has changed a lot in the recent years (5-7 years.) It is becoming very busy and some people don’t like it anymore, mainly due to traffic . Indeed, if you don’t have a scooter, it can become a nightmare. You can still use a Gojek ( local Uber motorbike taxi service ), but walking is stressful from my personal experience . So I really advise to rent a scooter and you will really feel the Bali vibe, while driving through the rice fields !
If you want a quieter option, you can opt for Pererenan, 5 min north of Canggu.
A quick sum up of what I generally do in canggu :
Live music at night, local markets, take a surf lesson ( plenty of local surf schools ) , enjoy Canggu beaches, go to hipster cafes for breakfast or brunch, go for swim early morning, eat in a local waring ( restaurant ) , do the Tanah Lot temple , try a Yoga class
Go to the most popular spots like the lawn or La Brisa for sunset drink . Or buy a Bintang and enjoy sunset on Batu Bolong beach or Echo beach

You learn about different cultures, different religions, and different ways of life. You also learn about yourself, your strengths, and your weaknesses.
Travel can also be a great way to make new friends. When you’re traveling, you’re surrounded by people from all over the world, and you’re all in the same boat. You’re all there to explore and experience new things, and that can create a bond between people.
